Curriculum Services
Curriculum services can include combinations of the following items below. Please contact us to establish a plan for curriculum services.
Standards Review With new standards being adopted on a continual basis, this will help your teachers stay on top of the standards. Through the study, teachers will be shown resources, both print and on-line that will keep them current, even if it's not their review cycle.
|
Text Book AdoptionNeeding new textbooks, but unsure where to begin? After completing a curriculum and gap analysis, staff will review sample materials from print and on-line resources before making an educated choice.
|
Creating a PD PlanA Professional Development plan isn't just a requirement for a Title I school, it's a good idea! Teachwell Solutions staff can help you examine your current PD practices and, through collaboration, help you design a PD plan that can guide your district.
|
Standards Based Grading/Reporting
"If your grading system doesn't guide students toward excellence, it's time for something different." (Patricia L. Scriffiny, Educational Leadership magazine). Make a change for the good. We can help. |
Content Area Discussions
You know your staff needs collaboration time and some directed discussion, but not sure where to begin? With a PD plan in hand, you can target these early dismissal, half day, or full day inservice times with content area discussions designed to help your teachers. Examples might include book studies or an evaluation of a newly adopted curriculum. |
Curriculum Director Services
By subscribing to this service, you can keep current with new initiatives that come from ESSA or SDDOE; receive monthly notes from area curriculum director meetings, call or email with questions, and receive current educational news stories (that you can forward to staff) called Bits & Pieces. |
Data Analysis
Take your entire staff, or leadership team through a study of the data collected throughout the year. Looking at your district through many data lenses will help you write meaningful goals for the new school year. |
Vertical Alignment
This can be for your entire staff or subject area specific years. Your teachers will see the value of “what gets taught and when.” |
